Interim Report Q2 2026 - Lappland Guldprospektering AB (publ)

Lappland Guldprospektering AB (publ) hereby publishes its interim report for the second quarter and the first half of 2026. The report is attached to this press release and is available on the Company’s website, www.lapplandguld.se.

This is an English translation of the Swedish press release, published on the Company’s website for convenience. Lappland Guldprospektering discloses its press releases in Swedish in accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and the Spotlight Stock Market rules. The Swedish version is the original and the official version, and prevails in the event of any discrepancy. This translation has not been distributed through a news distributor and does not constitute a separate disclosure.

Summary of significant events during the second quarter of 2026

16 April: Diamond core drilling commenced at Nya Gilleberget in the municipality of Ljusdal, totalling approximately 700 metres across three drill holes. The percussion drilling programme at Löparen in the municipality of Lycksele was completed after 70 drill holes.

15 May: Visible gold was observed during core logging of drill hole GB202601 at Nya Gilleberget, at a depth of 217.8 metres. No gold assays had been carried out at that point. The drilling programme was expanded with a fourth hole, GB202604. The Company applied to expand the exploration permit.

28 May: The Annual General Meeting was held in Stockholm. The board was re-elected with six members and Tomas Björklund as Chair. BDO Göteborg AB was elected auditor with Arwid Erixon as auditor in charge. The meeting authorised the board to resolve, up until the next Annual General Meeting, on the issue of not more than 150,000 shares, corresponding to a mathematical dilution of approximately 10.6 per cent.

26 June: Assay results from the first diamond core hole at Nya Gilleberget, GB202601, were disclosed: a continuous gold-bearing zone of 28.05 metres down-hole length at an average grade of 2.30 grams of gold per tonne, including 10.50 metres at 3.95 grams of gold per tonne. Results from the remaining holes are expected in August 2026.

Significant events after the end of the reporting period

13 July: The results of the percussion drilling programme at Löparen were disclosed. Two areas of elevated gold assay values were outlined, one of which had not previously been recognised. A follow-up programme at closer drill spacing is planned for the winter of 2026/2027.

CEO’s statement

In the first half we drilled at four of our focus areas in northern Sweden and found gold at Nya Gilleberget. The February share issue raised SEK 29.1 million, of which SEK 6.6 million went to operations and SEK 5.9 million to investments. At the end of the half-year we held SEK 20.3 million in cash (15.4).

Stortjärnhobben holds an Inferred Mineral Resource of 4.6 tonnes of gold and is the Company’s principal project. Inferred is the lowest of the three classes and rests on limited geological evidence. We drill to move parts of it to Indicated. That class is required before any of the resource can become a mineral reserve, and before mine planning and economics can be assessed with reasonable confidence. All work at Stortjärnhobben is aimed at increasing confidence in our assessment of the deposit and building the basis for a decision on mining.

At Stortjärnhobben we drilled five diamond core holes in the southern part of the exploitation concession. They are about 250 metres long, angled to cut the mineralisation at around 200 metres depth, and drilling continues through the autumn. The last interim report gave the first half of 2026 for the updated resource. More holes and longer assay times pushed it into the third quarter.

The updated resource will form the basis for a preliminary economic assessment, a scoping study. It is a first set of calculations and rests in part on Inferred Mineral Resources. A feasibility study follows later and is the basis for a decision on a mine. In parallel we are preparing documentation for an environmental permit for full-scale mining: hydrology, ecology, transport and leaching tests. The permit we apply for starts with open-pit mining and then moves underground. Two vertical core holes are under way and will be pumped out to show how the groundwater behaves. They also tell us about the geology, and any mineralisation is assayed.

Trial mining is the nearer matter. The County Administrative Board published the application on 3 July and statements are due by 31 August. We have asked that any permit be immediately enforceable so that we can start at once if it is granted. The processing, the decision and any appeals decide the outcome, and we intend to carry out the trial mining this year.

The land designation is a third track. The Land and Environment Court of Appeal has granted enforcement in respect of the land designation, so we have access to the land although the Vapsten Sámi reindeer herding community’s appeal is undecided. The court is examining the merits and sets its own timetable. The designation runs for the life of the project, and our access remains while the case is pending.

At Nya Gilleberget we drilled four holes. The first showed a gold-bearing zone of 28.05 metres down-hole length at 2.30 grams of gold per tonne, including 10.50 metres at 3.95 grams of gold per tonne. True width is not determined, and assays from the other three holes are expected in August. On 1 July the Mining Inspectorate of Sweden granted an expanded exploration permit, and we plan more drilling to see whether, and where, the zone continues.

At Ytterberg we drilled two holes to meet the conditions for extending the permit. At Löparen we drilled 70 percussion holes and reported the results in July. Grades are low throughout, but the programme outlined two anomalies, the northern one previously unrecognised. They tell us where to look next, and we intend to drill closer around both this winter.

Three things govern the second half. The updated mineral resource. The environmental permit for the trial mining, with the County Administrative Board. The land designation, with the court. Two of the three are in other hands. What we control is the drilling, and it continues. The milestones in the report set out what we are waiting for and when. Follow those items: they decide how quickly Stortjärnhobben moves forward.
